Dr. Alaa Tartir

Son of Palestinian theater artist Adel Tartir, is an academic researcher, lecturer, program advisor to Al-Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network, and co-chair of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Reform Initiative. Interested in Palestinian theater and children's stories, he is documenting his father’s theatrical biography, and authored the acclaimed children's book The Sunbird's Nest.
